This is what I will play if I can't get Feldman's deck together. I borrowed some ideas from some netdecks and the deck that got 7th at the Springfield PTQ, but a lot of these choices were my own. I couldn't find any decks online using Balefire Liege, Manamorphose, or Chaotic Backlash (tech!).

If I can get Balefire Liege to last a turn, burning out the opponent is really easy. Flame Jab has good synergy here, as does Manamorphose.

Fire-Lit Thickets and Manamorphose mean I can reliably Firespout the air. Manamorphose can also trigger the Liege.

Out of the sideboard, Chaotic Backlash wrecks Kithkin and Merfolk. I don't see why other red decks aren't using it in the sideboard.

I'm not sure about Spitebellows in the sideboard. It is good against Doran and I guess Chameleon Colossus.

Lastly, I'm still not positive about Balefire Liege. Is Demigod of Revenge better? They just feel like completely different strategies and I don't know how best to compare them.

Doesn't seem bad, but I'm not sure if I like vexing shusher. It doesn't really end up doing a whole lot, as faeries will just ignore your spells and time walk you with cliques and make massive swings with scion of oona and otherwise laugh at your two mana do nothing. Intimidator Initiate was really good in the version of this that I played against in Springfield, It let him force his creatures through my plumeveil to allow him to continue to attack for the win. Tattermunge maniac might also be good too. I like flame jab a lot, put wouldn't playing 3 make more sense? It seems like you want to see one every game but not draw 2.

I like the guy who gives red dudes you control first strike, but that's just me I guess lol.

I may drop 1 more thing, probably an Eyeblight's Ending for the third Wild Ricochet. It will be pretty amazing in the mirror match. Stigma Lasher didn't really do much, other than be a decent two-drop. I didn't really see any lifegain other than that Merfolk deck that ran Kitchen Finks..So I'm gonna test him SB instead of main. And right now im testing without firespouts, cause I'm not sure how much we really need them. We want Kithkin to get a nice board to Chaotic Backlash really.

1. "Vexing Shusher=two mana do-nothing" ...ding!
2. Thus, Stigma Lasher seems like a fine two-drop
3. I don't think black removal is really needed, though it is pretty easy to splash. Spiteflame Witch seems pretty enticing to me actually, though the one toughness probably makes it not good enough.

All of this taken into consideration, this list, which took 5th place at the hands of Ryuuchi Arita (who top 8ed an Extended PT) makes a lot of sense. This is what I suggested for Steven. The deck that won the PTQ was -2 Flame Jab -2 Unwilling Recruit +4 Rekindled Flame maindeck and -4 Fulminator Mage -3 Firespout -1 Unwilling Recruit +4 Chaotic Backlash +4 Moonglove Extract SB. I kinda like Moonglove Extract to kill Forge-Tenders, but otherwise I mostly like the 5th place list:

Me, Chuck, and Will dropped 2 Flame Jabs and 1 Mountain for 3 Gougers at Castle Friday.
so -2 Flame Jab -1 Mountain +3 Gouger was the list I got 10th with. The deck I posted is what Jimbob played I believe. I just made the SB better (In my opinion) Jimbob said he didnt really like his SB anyway, and I havent decided how much I like Vexing Shusher, but I do like Demigod of Revenge a lot. So I'm going to play him at the next PTQ in Dallas probably. I dunno how much I like splashing black, but thats what testing is for. I think the SB I used was:

I dont think the black is really needed..Only reason I see for it is to have a better chance at kithkin preboard maybe but most people dont play Forge Tender main. I dunno..I'd rather have Puncture Blast over Nameless Inversion since It goes to the face. Seems better.

You probably need 4 Moonglove Extracts in the board to kill Forge-Tenders. I would at least consider Ember Gale instead of Chaotic Backlash. Was the original list not playing Gouger for some reason? Tarfire is underpowered.

You made the original list Ben, and it wasnt playing Gougers, so we added them :p and I play 4 Moonglove Extract in the board. I dunno, I think Chaotic Backlash is fine considering how much damage it could deal. But I'll mess with Ember Gale too.

The MD has 4 Nameless Inversion so I'm not sure if I need 4 Moonglove extract. Maybe 3? Ember Gale costs 1 less so that seems good. I think a fine tuned SB will be important so testing post board will need to be done.
