Isn't Elvish Visionary > Druid of the Anima?

I wish Wrap In Vigor hadn't rotated out.

Overrun? Garruk?

Fire-Lit Thickets for the Dragon?

the deck is very mana hungry. elvish visionary is just a redundant card draw when you have ponder + distant melody. The main thing it is there for is to help you set up the sideboard or for ranger of eos. At the point that you ranger for druid + nettle and have 1 other dude and a promenade or melody, you are probably going to combo out.

Distany Melody is very awkward. There's no way to find it, so you're very much at the mercy of your deck to spit it out, and you can't combo off without it really. Since you want Ranger of Eos main already, the 3-color manafixing is either slow, painful, or bad, and Heritage Druid makes a TON of mana with Promenade, Regal Force is superior imo. This would likely be better if I just let the aggro side of the deck happen, but work with me here. I'm trying to build a combo deck first.

4 Gilt-Leaf Palace
4 Windbrisk Heights
4 Brushland
5 Forest
1 Plains
3 Wooded Bastion

4 Heritage Druid
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Nettle Sentinel
4 Regal Force
3 Ranger of Eos
4 Devoted Druid

4 Gilt-Leaf Ambush
4 Elvish Promenade
2 Roar of the Crowd
2 Manamorphose
4 Commune with Nature

cut one force for a third manamorphose you need the to be able to filter especially with no way to make red asside from it. any thoughts on a sideboard?

id rather cut a land for a manamorphose, the big thing is, against a lot of decks you only need the manamorphose on the turn you win.

This may be silly but... what about the Archdruid that takes your opponents land? Maybe a one of? Also, I like LSV's Extended version with Elves of Deep Shadow and Thoughtseize in the SB. I just wonder if it could work in this?

You don't need another Manamorphose because like Jeremy said you only need it when you've already gone off and drawn your deck. I don't see any reason to play Archdruid when I could just play Regal Force and kill them. Plus it's kinda hard to have 7 druids lying around since Elvish Promenade tokens are Elf Warriors.

I'm pretty sure the deck should have Imperious Perfects and Bramblewood Paragons. That would let it be a beatdown deck with a combo option. I'll work on it some more tonight.

Would Essence Warden be terrible to stall and for subterfuge until you combo off? SB material?

This is where the deck ended up. "Comboing" was replaced by making ~30 tokens and Tar Fiending their hand away.

// Lands
4 Gilt-Leaf Palace
4 Windbrisk Heights
3 Forest
3 Wooded Bastion
3 Llanowar Wastes
1 Brushland
1 Swamp
1 Plains

// Creatures
4 Heritage Druid
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Nettle Sentinel
3 Regal Force
4 Ranger of Eos
4 Imperious Perfect
4 Civic Wayfinder
2 Tar Fiend
4 Wren's Run Vanquisher

// Spells
3 Elvish Promenade
4 Thoughtseize

// Sideboard
SB: 4 Burrenton Forge-Tender
SB: 4 Vexing Shusher
7 empty slots

The problem with the deck is that literally everyone has sweepers. There should probably be at least one Forge-Tender main, but you can't effectively keep from getting owned by sweepers. I'm giving up.

After watching Will play some games last night I think this is a pretty good build. Chuck suggested Sarkhan Vol, and honestly he's pretty hot since he lets you run your Promenade out there and get some damage in, then who cares if they sweep you after that? However a fourth color is quite possibly too much for this manabase. I'm trying as hard as possible to keep from adding Vivids. Maybe Manamorphose, but 4 Manamorphose and 3 Sarkhan Vol is probably more slots than I could possibly hope to find. I'm not sure there shouldn't be a 4th Regal Force anyway.

Instead of adding vivids, which would slow this deck down, try some filters? I don't see why karp forest, firelit thicket, and even battlefield forge would be terrible here. Maybe -2 bastions +2 firelit, -1 brushland + 1 forge? Then again, you can just cut the heights and add in some mana fixing instead. Perhaps -1 bastion -4 heights, +3 firelit thicket +1 forge +1 karp forest?

The problem is, while 3 colors are decent with Filters and painlands, 4 is too many. By the time you're Gbwr you probably need to either cut a color or go for Vivids/Manamorphose.
