This deck is awesome and pretty simple to play. Just make them discard stuff, search out appropriate trinkets, kill their dudes, then Boooomstalker them to death. I'm like 7-0 with it on Magic-League and I think I might build it with Ravnica duals for anything goes.
I think in some ways Legacy is even more fun than Extended because the control cards are good enough to stop most brokenness. It's much more fair than you'd expect. As far as I can tell, the top tier of decks are: UWG(b/r) Threshold, Cephalid Life, Aggro Loam, and 42 land. There are other viable decks like Welder/Survival, Aluren, Goblins, Landstill, Monowhite Angel Stax, Dredge (basically extended version), 2-land Belcher, The Perfect Storm, and more. If you'd like to see what the pros chose, check out the worlds decks here.

Re: Boomstalker disruption
Seems really cool! The bitch is borrowing/buying/trading for duals. I guess the Rav duals will do. Anyway, I'm looking for an old Inquest deck fav of mine featuring Tradewind Rider. I'll post it when I find it.

Re: Boomstalker disruption
I don't think anyone will mind if the Legacy forum is cluttered :\

3 Taiga
3 Tropical Island
1 Savannah
1 Treetop Village
4 Wasteland
4 Tranquil Thicket
2 Wooded Foothills
2 Windswept Heath
4 Rishadan Port
2 Barbarian Ring
1 Nantuko Monastery
4 Maze of Ith
2 The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
1 Nomad Stadium
3 Gamble
3 Intuition
4 Exploration
4 Manabond
4 Life from the Loam
4 Mox Diamond
Sideboard:
4 Leyline of the Void
4 Chalice of the Void
3 Krosan Grip
1 Ancient Grudge
1 Ray of Revelation
1 Firebolt
1 Glacial Chasm
Loam: because it's Loam
Gamble: finds Loam
Intuition: finds Loam plus 2 of your best lands
Mox Diamond: because who cares, you'll Loam your lands back later
Exploration/Manabond: get multiple lands into play per turn
Beyond that, just a bunch of lands with utility. Port and Wasteland are probably the most broken ones in multiples, but there's plenty of variety. You can stop their creatures, their mana, kill them, and more with just lands.

Re: Boomstalker disruption
It's pretty sad but we may have to gather cards so maybe 1-2 of us can Q in Chicago next year.

Re: Boomstalker disruption
Sad? More like awesome. Legacy is fun, GPs are fun, Chicago is alright, why not?
Re: Boomstalker disruption
Legacy is kick ass, although I've only played it once or twice in recent years. The sucky thing is getting decks together to play at the GP level. We will have to do some serious trading or borrowing(this most likely). If we can do that than I would be willing to make the travel.
