Jitte is the only way you beat Zoo game one and there should probably be one more.

Clique is a 3-mana Duress, and along with Negate those are the only ways you *might* keep combo from straight goldfishing on you.

I thought about the Elvish Visionary (I think that's his name) but it seemed like a do-nothing. Maybe getting 5 green guys in play is enough of a goal that I'm wrong though.

Maybe there should be a couple of Mutavaults to help you combo a little sooner.

you beat zoo by comboing off jitte can be somewhat decent by not spectacular
you are a combo deck your goal is to get your combo online and win not. remand is better because you draw a card. your combo is turn three others are turn four or greater. clique is ok but you need cheap creatures and clique is cost ineffective. the draw elf may be better but im trying boreal druid right now.

You can't honestly say you're a turn 3 deck. When are you ever going to draw your two pieces by turn 3? You have no library manipulation whatsoever, and adding 4 Remands isn't going to help much.

I think Negate might buy you more than a turn if you counter a Ritual they were counting on to go off. Then you might get to sit there for a couple of turns until they draw another.

Firespout is pretty bomb against this, and people are going to be playing it for Zoo already. Once I start adding cards like Vendilion Clique, I should probably take the next logical step and just be a Faerie deck. But I like to brew, so I'm brewing.

Yes. Some builds have played Essence Warden for infinite life. Others have played Wirewood Hivemaster and Opposition (but no more). Chapin had a build with Counterbalance+Top instead of either Alarm or Opposition. Most builds play Imperious Perfect, but I think he's way too fragile.

So... you make a zillion tokens and hope they don't combo off or have a wrath effect before you swing next turn? That seems less than ideal, but I don't know a lot about the extended metagame.

How about include some cards that mean you win when you combo off, like some sort of pinger, or (for more lols) Cathartic Adept?
