Metagame for Tulsa PTQ-Any Ideas
My guess is that it will be closer to the Wichita PTQ where most(70+%) of the top tables will be playing faeries, rather than Springfield, where there were a decent amount of 5c elementals near the top with the faeries and a decent amount of kithkin running around the top. I also suspect that there will be more kithkin showing up than usual, but with a lower percent near the top. Or I could be talking out of my butt, who knows?

Well I mean,it just really depends obv,if all the people that went to the wichita and springfiled ptq where to show up at tulsa than ya,their will be an ass load of faieres, so ya,it'll more than likely be 60% faieres,25% kithkin, and then 15% whatever else, and it really sucks cause peoples main question is,well so what beats faieres, and the only good anwser i can come up with is other faiere decks

Top tables will mostly be Faeries cuz it's the best deck, duh. If Elementals is successful it'll be cuz not enough people played Faeries.

both of the guys i beat playing mono red were sorta pissed, cause apparently they were supposed beat faerie decks, which i mean i guess flame jab should be good vs faeries in theory, but it just didnt seem to work out for them,at least not against me.

This is like the R/G Artifact hate decks in Mirrodin block all over again. In that the hate decks don't even beat the deck they're designed to beat, which is funny.

Yes it is, but i think of it as sad not funny.

Just makes my deck choice that much easier!
Maybe I'm a despicable person, but I judge the health of a format by how often I win. Like, last Extended with roughly 30 "playable" decks was horrid. A narrow, yet skill-intensive format is all I really ask for.

I don't think it's fun but you're right: it does make your deck choice easy! The Fae mirror is skill intensive so the challenge is there.

ehh, Bitterblossom ruins games, but without that card it's pretty skill-intensive.
