Re: A Trio of choices for double team weekend
I won Wichita with the Faerie list I posted. I definitely think anyone who doesn't play Faeries in pre-Eventide Block might as well not show up. I don't see any chance of that changing until Eventide has been out a few weeks. If I were to play again, I would take out the 2 Eyeblight's Endings in the board for 2 Consign to Dream.

Re: A Trio of choices for double team weekend
Congratulations! Yeah man, I'm playing Fae for Block and for FNM from here on out. Q'd for Nats and for Berlin! Way to go!
Edit: I expect a full report and deck list! *please?*
Who else ended up going, what did they play and how did they do?

Re: A Trio of choices for double team weekend
I played the list I posted above, but like I said, Consign to Dream is better than Eyeblight's Ending since it somewhat deals with Chameleon Colossus. I'd also consider playing Faerie Trickery against Cloudthresher decks, though those usually aren't that tough to beat. I don't think I ever cast the Negate, I might prefer to play the random Oona since it's fine in the mirror and better than that against a lot of decks. I found out that I boarded the mirror differently than some really good players. Brett McCleaf and GerryT were taking out Mistbind Cliques and Broken Ambitions. The Cliques make more sense to me than the BAs, but I could see that too, it just opens you up to an early Bitterblossom if you're on the play. Maybe they just take out BAs on the draw. I'll see what I can find out for you guys.
As for the report, I may try to slop something together from my scorepads. I can remember my matchups fine but not so much what happened since I didn't sleep the night before and was basically a zombie the whole time. I'll see what I can do though.
Edit: results and decks
Me: Faeries, 6-1 Swiss, 3-0 Top 8
Jeremy: Faeries, 5-2
Beaver: Doran, like 4-3 I think?
David: Merfolk, 0-3 (yes we had the last place and first place finishers lol)
