I've been messing around with this for a bit. I really like Rite of Consumption and this deck was basically built around it. Scuzzback Marauders are good with it, and from there I added Heartmender and other persisters. Persist is also good with Impromptu Raid and Mannequin. Heartmender is also cool with Devoted Druid. Basically, the deck built itself and I've been working on tweaking it today.

I'm thinking about adding fire-lit thickets and maybe a couple Mountains so I can Firespout from the sb.

This doesn't feel focused enough. I'm ditching the raids.

Bah, I'm out of ideas. I don't think this is going to work. Chime in if you have a suggestion, but otherwise I am scrapping this.

Scuzzback Marauders is pretty terrible, if anything you should look like the more conventional G/W decks, maybe you can just play all the hybrid guys plus black removal and be G/B. Doesn't seem that bad.
