i would play more lands and kinsbaile cavaliers. it seemed like when you play that guy and attack with ~3 other guys in the same turn, you pwned some bitches. you only have 5 kithkin but if you added a few more then surge of thoughtweft might be better than war cry. militia's pride is the stones.

You'll probably disagree with me on many of the changes but I believe this might be more consistent yet do many of the same things. I think your deck has too much redundancy in the MD with life gain (3 Finks, 4 Meadowgrain, 3 Martyr) which takes away some possible threats/utility. I know you're in love with Lurebound Scarecrow but I think Mirror Entity might have more synergy with your deck and pose a bigger threat to your opponents. If he dies he dies, if he doesn't then your opponent is in trouble! He's even a threat by himself if your late game and you have mana and Mutavaults open. I really like Serra Avenger but I think the Crusader is better and I think O-Ring might be better for it's utility (shutdown Colossus, Warhammer, Enchantments, etc.). All this is just my opinion and has not been tested at all though I would really like to.

I've tried to like milita's pride but i just cant...if you play it 2nd or 3rd turn and plan on using it then it ties up all your mana to cast other stuff,and if you daw them late game it just doesnt really do much,(also if you build Jesse's list you might as well play 4 goldmeadow stalwarts,since theres 13 kithkin in there,i guess 16 if you leave the militias prides in)

i generally like the creatures in red's list better but i would like to have oblivion ring and maybe even sunlance main. i'm not sure you need both glorious anthem and surge of thoughtweft. militia's pride is great, and so is lurebound scarecrow. i think red had it pretty right, other than maybe add a little more removal.

Hate Crimes was amazing and people were quickly talking about how dominating it was. One guy got beat so bad he was telling everyone that Red was going to Q. Many of my opponents were talking about Hate Crimes and Trey's Storm and I would tell them with pride, that they are part of our Tulsa group. If it wasn't for the slow play of the Reveillark player and the dick move and terrible ruling in favor of the Fae player, Red would have Q'd.

The deck is amazing and very fun to play. I'll be rocking it for awhile at our FNMs!

details on the ruling?

Red will have to give more detail but I'll tell you what I know. Basically, Red swung in with Martyr of Sands, Knight of the Holy Nimbus and a couple of other dudes. The Fae Player blocked with some dudes and then Slaughter Pact'd Nimbus with no mana open to kill him dead. Red did not remove him and the Fae player realized after Red explained, that you need 2 mana to kill him. After that, Red was about to enter his second main phase to cast a Soltari Priest but quickly caught that they still had not resolved combat and he let the Fag know. Fag called a judge (many of them level 0) and let him know that Red already cast a Soltari Priest and therefore, changed the game state. The judge ruled in Fag's favor and Red was not able to sac Martyr and gain 18 life and lost the game after that. Red really should have appealed the call but I suspect that he would not have won because the head judge made a dubious ruling against me in one of my matches. On my opponents turn 2, he tapped a forest, a bird, cast an elf and said go. I untapped and drew. He realized that he forgot to cast his second elf but I pointed out that he should take mana burn since he passed his turn. He called the judge and allowed my opponent to go back and cast his second Elf even after I had already started my turn! WTF! They knew each other by first name basis and are probably buds because I would not get such a ruling at FNM, let alone Regionals! Luckily I firespouted his crew and smashed him with Hammered Colossus FTW. Still, Aussie Fox needs to get some real judges.

hmm, red's call is bad but i could see a judge ruling like that. i think both players should have gotten a warning for failure to maintain the game state and gone back to combat and resolved everything.

i have no clue why the judge would let your opponent go back to his turn though. that's pretty ridiculous.

i would rather play plains than flagstones because the only mana denial people play are magus and detritivore.. so plains would just be better i think

I also got some judge interference on Saturday. Once again, even without Zandy, probably the worst judging in the history of the world.

i would just play both, you want at least 8 one-drops anyway. but i mean, now red has no reason not to play red AND white, so i obviously expect him to do so.

i have been thinkin up a red/white rush deck ...lol thanx ben.... i like the new retrace card the u get 2 combat phases ... idk... call me a nood but i think it could work, not to build a deck around it but just 1 or 2 as a really cool combat trick ... hit me back
