Deck to Beat: B/x Rogue Empty Deck to Beat: B/x Rogue

I tried a Mono Black Rogue deck in Anything goes and did fairly well with it. Now the question is: can it be tuned for Extended?

Right now the prowl cards that stand out as possible inclusions are:

Earwig Squad
Noggin Whack
Stinkdrinker Bandit

Possible prowl enablers:

Bitterblossom(this could be incredible despite Deed around)
Prickly Boggart
Nightshade Stinger

It was mentioned in Zack Hill's article for Extended that Cabal Therapy seems to be amazing with Blossom. I think he may be right. Should Oona's Blackguard be included? Seem like she would make those tokens downright dangerous if she lives. Hmmm... What black/artifact creatures beside Doran are seeing play that could block fear or fly? What color could we splash to make it better? I wish I had enough experience with Extended to start making lists but I don't. Well I guess I could come up with a skeleton and you guys could come up with ideas. Here goes...

4 Dark Confidant(just realized that him and Bitterblossom=hella pain!)
3 Earwig Squad
4 Nightshade Stinger
4 Oona's Blackguard
3 Prickly Boggart
3 Stinkdrinker Bandit

4 Bitterblossom
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Noggin Whack
2 Smother
2 Thoughtseize

4 Mutavault
2 Pendelhaven
16 Swamp
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

SB:
3 Extirpate
4 Leyline of the Void
4 Pithing Needle
2 Smother
2 Thoughtseize

Is it feasible? Lets discuss. Cool

Just some guesses:
4 Chrome Mox, that card is broken in this deck. Lets you cut some 1-drop critters too. Turn 1 Bob anyone? I'm losing faith on Stinkdrinker. Not sure. 4 Smother for sure, you need to kill Doran ASAP, Smother is perfect. 3 Bitterblossom should be plenty. I have a feeling I'd want 4 Earwig Squad, not sure. You could totally splash Goyf. You probably need him vs RDW anyway, which is an awful matchup. SB some Darkblasts for sure, maybe Ghastly Demise. What's Needle for? Make sure you have 4 Earwigs somewhere. I would like to fit some Prowlers in main, but I'm not sure there's room.

Edit: wow, I have bad grammar and flow in my writing sometimes. meh.

I did some preliminary testing vs. Zoo with my initial build and it's no good! You're right Ben! I didn't even think of Mox and Goyf is needed along with some life gain. Okay, here are the changes and please chime in if I'm off base or if you have something better...

4 Dark Confidant
4 Earwig Squad
4 Oona's Blackguard
4 Oona's Prowler
4 Tarmogoyf

3 Bitterblossom
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Chrome Mox
4 Noggin Whack
4 Smother

Not sure how to do the mana base so if anyone would like to take a crack at it I would be grateful.

SB:
3 Darkblast
4? Extirpate
4 Leyline of the Void
4 Umezawa's Jitte?

I'll test it out and see if it works out.

getting there. I'd try 2 Jitte main, if you can hit them with it (might be a big if), you might be able to steal a game vs RDW. I'd try something like this for the manabase (assuming 23, idk about number)
5 Black Fetch
2 Green Fetch
3 Swamp
3 Mutavault
1 Forest
3 Overgrown Tomb
3 Treetop Village
1 Pendelhaven
1 Miren, the Moaning Well (could be tech vs RDW for lifegain, NLB for "dont take my shit")
1 Urborg

That makes you kinda vulnerable to Blood Moon but I don't think its a big concern. Might be too many manlands though.

What to take out? I'll have to think on that! I really like Miren Moaning Well for Threads and Shackles. Thinking about Shackles and other problem artifacts, I could side in Grips. In all honesty, this project may be fruitless.

If RDW stays popular, you might be right. But in my opinion, any well-tuned deck can win in extended. For example, you could splash white for Sphere of Law SB and improve your RDW matchup. You might want Grip SB, but Indrik Stomphowler might be enough. Thinking about it, you definitely don't need 23 land plus 4 mox. I'd go down to 19 or 20. Idk what I was smoking.

Allright! I got bored and right now I'm a little lost. Here is an updated list...

3 Dark Confidant
4 Earwig Squad
4 Nightshade Stinger
4 Oona's Blackguard
4 Oona's Prowler
3 Tarmogoyf

4 Cabal Therapy
4 Chrome Mox
4 Noggin Whack
4 Smother
3 Jitte

4 Bloodstained Mire
1 Forest
1 Miren the Moaning well
3 Mutavault
3 Overgrown Tomb
1 Pendelhaven
3 Swamp
1 Urborg
2 Wooded Foothills

SB:
3 Extirpate
3 Indrik Stomphowler
